The challenge was to create interiors that felt organic, vibrant, and contemporary, without losing the raw authenticity of the jungle-meets-ocean environment.

The concept for Pavones Hills was tropical modernism with soul. We envisioned a collection of spaces where color, texture, and comfort layered seamlessly with the natural environment.
Palette
Inspired by the Pacific — sandy neutrals, and warm wood tones.
Materials
Locally sourced woods, natural fibers, artisanal textiles, and stone to root the design in Costa Rica.
Atmosphere
Open, airy, and barefoot-friendly interiors that invite guests to flow effortlessly between indoor and outdoor living

Location
Remote setting in Pavones, which made logistics and sourcing materials more complex.
Balance
Needed to harmonize modern amenities with the natural setting, so the design enhanced rather than overshadowed the landscape.
Identity
Each space had to feel fresh and simple, appealing both to travelers and long-term residents, while maintaining a cohesive brand across the property.
